Recognize a classroom teacher who demonstrates excellence in teaching students with mental retardation or developmental disabilities.

Recognize a company or an individual within an organization who has created employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities or special needs.
Volunteer of the Year
Recognize volunteers who give generously of their time and talents to accomplish the mission of The Arc.
Advocate of the Year
Recognize a community volunteer mentor who helps an individual with a disability or a group of individuals achieve a higher degree of independence.
Service Worker of the Year
Recognize a direct care staff member who demonstrates exceptional sensitivity to people with disabilities and who exhibits quality work within the position held.
Paraeducator of the Year
Recognize a classroom paraeducator who demonstrates excellence in helping students with disabilities or special needs meet their educational goals.
Citizenship Award
Recognize an individual with disabilities for outstanding participation in or contribution to the community.
Distinguished Community Service
Recognize an organization that performs outstanding service on behalf of people with disabilities.
Media Excellence
Honor outstanding media efforts that create better community understanding of disabilities and individuals affected. This award recognizes reports, programs, news stories in television, radio, and print.
Scholarship Application
Assist a deserving individual who is attending or will attend post secondary training or education in a field that directly benefits individuals with disabilities.
