Respite is the short-term temporary care and supervision of a child or adult
with mental retardation and/or other developmental disabilities. All families
need relief from the responsibilities of the daily care giving role. It is often
difficult for families to find someone both willing and experienced in caring
for someone with special needs.

The Arc provides regularly scheduled Saturday afternoon and Friday evening
