The individual consumer and family are part of a team that designs a program of skill training activities to enhance the individual’s ability to be more independent in his or her home or community. Skill training might occur in the areas of self-help (i.e. toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.), domestic (i.e. laundry, table-setting, etc.), and community orientation (i.e. exposure to grocery store, post office, banking or new recreational or leisure offerings, etc.).

Consumer directed attendant care staff provide assistance to the individual
consumer with self-care tasks. Examples of tasks would include dressing, bathing
supports, meal preparation, eating, transportation, and etc.

IMMT services are the monitoring and treatment of individuals with a medical need requiring specially trained caregivers beyond what is normally available in a daycare setting for persons age 20 and under. The service allows the individual's usual caregivers to be employed. IMMT includes comprehensive development care, medical assessment, medical monitoring, and medical intervention as needed on a regular or emergency basis. The service can be conducted in the individual's home or in a licensed daycare facility.
